The Eilio shares a similar design with our overall favorite, but it requires absolutely tools to set up. Instead, it unfolds right out of the box, with hinged sides and a hinged asphalt roof that you fold over top as a final touch. The Eilio is made from water resistant stained wood, with a paneled, elevated floor for circulation and to ward off water. Because of its wet-weather friendly raised floor, the double-hinged door is about 11 inches off the ground, which may make this dog house too difficult to enter for senior dogs and dogs with mobility limitations. The interior is 35.5 by 24 inches, making it most appropriate for medium to large dogs. If your dog’s shoulders are less than 26.5 inches off the ground, then this house could be a good fit. It’s also fully enclosed from the elements, with a double-hinged door that’s raised off the ground to keep out rain. It features a raised and slanted floor to aid in runoff when cleaning too. But the standout feature is that each panel has several inches of foam insulation.

This award winning, cage free kennel, allows dogs to socialize, play, and sleep together in a safe environment, where dogs are supervised 24 hours a day. The facility has 9000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with rubber flooring for non-slip play in the indoor areas and outdoor spaces with shade, trees, pools, and play equipment. The base rate for overnight stays is $49 per night with discounts and addons are available.

Get involved and strengthen your professional network by attending events and conferences and joining our knowledge communities. If you’re going to stay here, you may as well look good doing it. Check out some of the best sunglass collections at Bloomingdales. I was a fan of the full-size organic and vegan bathroom toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as an after-sun gel and insect repellant. The resort is about a two-minute golf cart ride from the lobby, and it's the only time you'll need to hop on.

That is why I launched the first-ever National Strategy to Advance Equity, Justice, and Opportunity for AA and NHPI Communities. This strategy works to harness the full potential of these communities — from combating anti-Asian hate to making government services accessible in more languages. To ensure the legacies of AA and NHPI peoples are properly honored in the story of America, I signed historic legislation that will bring us closer to a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture. Throughout my time in office, the First Lady and I have hosted celebrations at the White House that highlight the incredible diversity of AA and NHPI communities, like Diwali and the first-ever White House Lunar New Year celebration.

Sometimes you have to get creative,” said Peters, who has explored ways to update the Wright-designed Norman Lykes House. She says she’s looked into having an exclusive documentary made about Wright with Volumedia and offered to work as a project manager for owners looking to use the property as an “experience” rental. This retreat is for you if you want to start the year off right, play and have fun! This peak experience is also for you if you want to belong to a community of like-minded souls, or if you want to share an exceptional experience with your partner or adult child or friend.

The main hub of the resort was the al fresco, bohemian beach bar, anchored by a fire pit and outdoor DJ area.

We built AïA’s house to promote a philosophy based on holistic principles that still includes the best things in life. A place to eat delicious food, have a great drink, dance until your heart is full, and enjoy life completely. The days of eating sticks and twigs to remain healthy in mind, body, and spirit are over!

A gutted mansion designed by architect-to-the-stars Tadao Ando has been listed in Malibu by Kanye West. The musician bought the home for $57.3 million in 2021 before ripping out its windows, doors, electrical and plumbing systems, then abandoning his planned renovation. The 4,000-square-foot home is now on the market for $39 million and would need several million dollars worth of work to be livable.

Racism, harassment, and hate crimes against people of AA and NHPI heritage also persist — a tragic reminder that hate never goes away; it only hides. We are also working to address the scourge of gun violence, which takes the lives of too many AA and NHPI loved ones. I signed the most significant gun safety law in nearly 30 years.

⟵ Homes Tour: 2022 ⟵ October 22-23

As new seasons merge into our natural rhythms, seize the chance to embrace the last days of summer with your loved ones at Palmaïa. Revel in unforgettable moments as a family, savoring healthy cuisine, enjoying well-being activities for all ages, and basking in the sun’s radiance while refreshing in sparkling waters. Omar Gandhi Architects (OGA) completed the three-bedroom house in 2023 for a couple, incorporating additional space for an ageing parent.

Barn-like house

Called the "crown jewel" of the house by the Wall Street Journal, the bathroom's unique design included a curved shower and bathtub that stretched the expansive length of the wall. Seller and real estate developer Craig Robbins called Hadid's design contribution "the nicest thing that probably any friend has ever done for me." That's how much a 4,700-square-foot home designed by architect Joseph Esherick sold for in April after the former owner received a sight-unseen offer, according to Sotheby’s International Realty.

A Sullivan Canyon home designed by Cliff May, called "the father of the California ranch house" by the L.A. With four bedrooms and three baths, the 2,762-square-foot dwelling has numerous skylights, shiplap ceilings and terracotta tile floors. A large portion of the existing house was gutted and reorganized.

From the quality of the food to how seriously it takes its promise of privacy — including a beach reserved only for Palmaïa guests — the resort doesn't feel like a typical all-inclusive. The owner of the resort is also a big fan of Burning Man, a theme that shines through in how it fosters community. Take advantage of this year-round invitation and give yourself or others the gift of well-being in a resort with the best retreat experience, with holistic activities, focused on healing body, mind, and soul.

Some events take place in the "Gypsy Tent," a beachside tent that moonlights as a kids club. We ordered lunch wherever we wanted, whether in the beach cabana or poolside. The casual eatery embraced the concept of "barefoot luxury." Because the resort is all-inclusive, you can order dining anywhere — but, with the ocean breeze and the views, this was my favorite spot.

Palmaia, The House of Aia, was built around two natural cenotes, which are underwater swimming holes found throughout the Riviera Maya coast and precede the Mayans. A cenote is a freshwater pool you can actually swim in, including this one at Atlantis spa. There’s also a yoga deck in the jungle near the beach. This platform is used for daily experiences, rituals and classes, like sound healing and making your own dreamweaver.
